Trae and I, Wyatt, have been making content together for a while now, but we realized something. We've never formally introduced ourselves to the world! So here goes nothing...
Hey, y'all! We're Trae and Wyatt. We are a gay couple living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, making content about the places we visit, the food we eat, and any cool or fun experiences we have along the way. And we're dragging you around with us for all of it!
For those of you who don't know our story, let's start at the beginning. Trae and I met in the most romantic place in the world. That's right. Tinder! Our first date was at Mugshots, right here in Gulfport, MS. One thing to know about us: we LOVE a good burger!
Well one thing led to another, and two dates later, Trae asked if I would be his boyfriend. And he did it... with pizza...

For context, I was working at Domino's at the time we met. So this was probably the absolute cutest and most thoughtful way of asking.
Obviously I said, "Yes!"
And like the good little stereotypical U-Haul lesbian I aspired to be a the time, I moved in with him pretty soon after that.
It was the best decision I made.
Wyatt, I know this is cheesy... BUT... Will you be my boyfriend? - Trae 💖

We spent so much time together. Trae introduced me to his non-profit theatre company, Downstage Productions Theatre, and I fell in love with it.
I started by just being behind the scenes and helping with set creation, but eventually, he pushed me to hop on the stage and perform for the first time in nearly a decade at the time. I had forgotten how much I missed it.
Then one day, Trae suggested we go on a scavenger hunt through town like he and his family used to do. I love scavenger hunts, so it took no convincing to get me in the car.
We searched for lots of items and maybe broke some traffic laws doing it, but the STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS HAS PASSED AND YOU HAVE NO PROOF THAT THIS ISN'T JUST FOR THE HAHAS! Anyway, we ended up in Downtown Gulfport, in Fishbone Alley, where the last clue was hidden. This was going to be the place we would be having dinner that evening.
I found it, and realized it was backwards: ?EM YRRAM UOY LLIW
And I know what you're thinking. Ah, how sweet. But my initial thoughts were, That's not a restau- OH! OHMYGOD! Wait are we eating or no? WAIT MARRY YOU!
My response was not the most graceful when Trae got down on one knee and asked unfortunately. As I turned around from reading it, my first words were not "Oh my gosh" but "OH FUCK YOU!"
Fast forward to July 1, 2022. With things being up in the air as to whether or not we would be legally allowed to get married one day, we decided to just go to the courthouse and do it. But it almost didn't happen.
We had all the documents and everything in order, but the problem was... all the judges had left for the day... or so we thought.
Discouraged, we agreed to just come back another day since nothing major could really happen in the next 24 hours. As we reached the exit, though, a voice called out down the hall behind us, "Wait! I'll marry you!" Fate had other plans, I guess. We didn't need a huge wedding or caterers or a spectacular venue. We just needed each other.
Oh hell naw! We doin' this today, like right now! - Fate, probably
We lived mostly comfortably for a while, and eventually, we decided that instead of working for other people, maybe we should try to be our own bosses. I mean, I had the business and managerial experience. Trae had the marketing skills. So, we started Ghostlight Marketing ("ghostlight" being inspired by the theatre) and began finding clients of our own.
We're still going strong today actually. In fact, this company is what gave us the freedom to start making our personal brand online where we get to have fun and share that with all of you!
When we first got started, we were just going off and having a good time online. But nowadays, we make it our mission to find the fun anywhere we go. And sometimes, we get to me some of our awesome followers out in the wild. (That ish was scary the very first time we got recognized.) And now we've developed TRYATT (TR from Trae and YATT from Wyatt), where we review food, places, and more!

We are so incredibly thankful that we've come this far, and we hope to go even further still. If you ever see us, say hi! We don't bite... unless we're hungry, of course.
Thanks for reading! Love you. Mean it. Bye!
